Biography

Dr. Sukumar is the Founder and CEO of OSG. Passionate that the only way to drive growth is by becoming customer centric, Dr. Sukumar has worked on a large number of engagements, providing our clients both methodological guidance on the use of behavioral analytics and continuous guidance on how to leverage the analytics for better decision making and continued growth. Prior to founding OSG, Dr. Sukumar spent over twenty years as an academic, teaching marketing strategy and advanced analytics at top MBA and Ph.D. programs around the globe. He served as an Academic Dean for a global business school and has served as an expert witness on a number of patent infringement and class action law suits. As a renowned thought leader in the industry, he has been interviewed and quoted in notable publications such as Forbes, HBR, and Inc. magazine.

Dr. Sukumar has an MBA and a Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh in Marketing and Business Administration, and B.S., Mechanical Engineering, from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India.

Biography

Girish Chandra is the Vice President of Operations at Optimal Strategix Consulting Pvt Ltd, the OSG India Office. In this role, he supports our C-suite leadership and facilitates strategic and cross-functional initiatives. He improves the operational effectiveness of our India office and brings teams together to achieve our organizational goals. He organizes and aligns strategic priorities with the senior leadership team, making sure the right people are talking about the right things at the right time.

Girish has over 21 years of work experience and his current role is people-oriented and objective and he communicates well with different personalities. He thinks ahead and catches problems before they arise. He works closely with the Managing Director, CEO, and Senior Management to build strong relationships with team members across the organization, influence outcomes, and maintain momentum. He is an implementer, translating a strategic vision into action. He provides department leads with recommendations and consultations to improve teamwork. He has rich experience in Operations, IT, HR, and Facilities, overseeing the entire spectrum of the human resources function, reviewing, formulating, and implementing HR and IT policies and procedures. 

Girish holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from National College, Bangalore University and his interests include traveling and listening to music.

Biography

Simon Dumville is Chief Product Officer, responsible for OSG’s end-to-end product strategy.

Originally from a Digital Design background, Simon has spent over twenty years building product solutions across many industries and has worked at both client and non-client side for companies such as EY, GfK, Vodafone, Zynga, BMW, Opodo, Sage, and Barclays.

Most recently, Simon has been a business mentor and coach for the Virgin Group, as part of its’ start-up incubator and accelerator program for small businesses, advising on Product Management, Technology, and Marketing.

Simon holds a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design from Kingston University and a PGDip in Design for Communication Media from the Manchester Metropolitan University.

Biography

Pasupathy Mahalingam is the Vice President of Engineering at OSG. He’s responsible for the development and innovation of our technology platform. He brings to the position extensive experience in the software industry, with building world-class internet scale products.

Prior to joining OSG, Pasupathy served as Director of Engineering at Zycus, managing supply chain source-to-pay product engineering teams and driving adoption of new technologies and analytics. He also served as Chief Architect at BigInfo Labs, and Senior Architect at Amadeus Labs, Ness Technologies and Infosys, so he comes to our technology team with two decades of solution and application architecture under his belt.

Pasupathy graduated from SRM College of Engineering, Chennai with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics. 

Biography

As the Managing Director of the OSG-India office, Dr. Sriram Somasundaram oversees OSG’s pan-India Operations and Technology teams, helping them improve their problem-solving skills, become accountable and collaborate across the different functional areas and geographies. Usually based in the OSG office in Bengaluru, our India team has grown to encompass the country and has been seamlessly managed by Sriram. 

Before joining OSG, Sriram worked at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory for over 28 years, with expertise in areas of Energy Efficiency, economic assessment of cogeneration systems, thermal energy storage, and new technologies for creating energy efficient infrastructures. He also served on the board of governors for the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and helped develop their strategy around recruitment and retention of society members.

Dr. Sriram received his Ph.D. In Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio after which he taught at Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas from 1981 to 1989. He got his B.Tech. Degree in Aeronautical Engineering from IIT Madras in 1976.

Dave serves as our Chief Sales Officer. In his role, Dave is responsible for the management of our entire sales efforts, including personnel, passion, process, and performance.

Prior to joining OSG, Dave spent over 20 years in sales and sales leadership for highly recognized companies, including Cornerstone OnDemand, Ceridian, and ADP. Dave has a very strong track record in delivering revenue goals, developing high-performing teams, taking organizations through major change & reorganization, and analyzing & executing sales strategies in ever-changing market conditions. Dave is very passionate about helping the continued development of people, both personally and professionally.

Dave earned his Bachelor’s Degree at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. He is also a veteran of the US Army. Dave continues to be active in his community as a coach of youth sports and active board member, holding various positions. He is currently the President and member of the Board of Governors for the Pine Richland Ice Hockey Organization.

Biography

Dr. Satya Varagoor is the Executive Vice President and Global Head of Operations. Responsible for excellence in customer experience, she makes sure all our clients get the highest value out of OSG’s products and client teams.

Dr. Varagoor brings to OSG many years of experience on insights and analytics. She started her career at the BASES Group, and worked for companies like BMC Software, Coca-Cola Company (Minute Maid), Bristol Myers Squibb, and most recently with Janssen Pharmaceuticals (a Johnson and Johnson Company). During her career, she provided deep insights and analytics for products from pre-launch to post-commercialization.

Dr. Varagoor has a Ph.D. in Marketing from the University of Houston and a BA in Mathematical Statistics and MA in Operations Research from Delhi University, India and Pennsylvania State University.

Arvind Vij is a highly accomplished global lawyer with extensive international legal experience in the areas of corporate, commercial, project finance, private equity, securities, offshoring/outsourcing, governance, operations and legal entity management in varied industries as an in-house lawyer and in private practice.  Arvind has developed and implemented processes to increase productivity while decreasing costs with a focus on offshoring and outsourcing.  Arvind has tremendous experience in setting up offshore legal and corporate secretarial Centers of Excellence that manage end-to-end vendor contracts as well as the governance, information/data and regulatory reporting of legal entities.

Arvind is also the Founder & CEO of Illuminati Humanista Solutions, a one-stop shop for legal support solutions and a first of its kind in India. It provides innovative, specialized and customized services in the fields of Legal, Compliance and Legal Entity Management to a diverse range of clients in the US, India & Singapore. Prior to that, he served as Managing-Director and Operations Executive in Global KYC Operations at JPMorgan Chase & Co., working with the various Lines of Business to build a firm-wide utility creating consistent KYC processes to conduct KYC renewals/client onboarding which included building a Compliance Operations Center of Excellence in Hyderabad, India to migrate and centralize KYC functions.

He received his LLB from University College London (UCL) with honors. Prior to that, he received his Bachelors in Business Administration from Simon Fraser University, also with honors.

Somshankar Das is the President and Co-Founder of Business Accelerator Inc., where he is focused on building and scaling businesses around cutting-edge digital technologies. His current portfolio includes companies in Cloud Computing, Software-Defined Video Solutions, AI and ML in banking and agriculture sectors, eCommerce, and many others. Prior to Business Accelerator, Som was the Founder, CEO, and President of e4e Inc.

He holds a Master of Science degree from Calcutta University in Physics and Mathematics and an MBA from the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University.​

Brian Hughes is a Board Member and Audit Chair for Bentley Systems, a privately-held global provider of software solutions for engineers and architects. Prior to Bentley Systems, Brian spent 17 years at KPMG LLP where he provided audit, tax, and advisory services to high-growth privately-held and public companies. Additionally, Brian has held leadership positions at Arthur Andersen and built his foundational skills for working with privately held companies and entrepreneurs. He received a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Accounting and an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania.​ 

Biography

Henry Rohrer is the Vice President of Sales at Oracle Corporation where he is responsible for Oracle Cloud Infrastructures sales in the energy industry. Prior to Oracle, Henry spent 19 years at IBM in various sales executive roles including North America Director of Sales for IBM Cloud Platform and North America Director of Sales for IBM Analytics. He built his professional career on an academic background in communications, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree from Villanova University.​
